  Guys:
  1. This blog post hardly makes sense. If you want your story to be heard, please try and write a comprehensible post. Profiles get deleted all the time, for various reasons and – as much as we like to criticize CS – this doesn’t automatically qualify as a bad thing.
  2. Please, for the love of god, use punctuation, capital letters and complete sentences. It seriously improves readability and therefor your message.

  Ok. Following some of the links, this seems to be the story implied by Eeye:
  - CS member “Dr. Harpal Singh” got into some kind of discussion with a certain “Lady Ri” (yes, doctor versus lady) who seemed to be country amb for India. The point of discussion centered around CS parties/meetings and what should or shouldn’t be posted in certain areas.
  - “Lady Ri” was accepted into the safety team.
  - Dr. Harry’s profile was subsequently deleted.

  Correlation does not imply causality, but there might be something here.

  robino, they’re the “agents of security” who work behind the scenes, flying under the radar, to keep you safe while you sleep.

  Or in less abstract terms, the safety team is responsible for “safety” on CS. They have extensive power and authority (from comrade Casey) to delete profiles, ban members, delete posts / threads, and so on. Naturally, this power is completely unaccountable, totally non-public, and of course there is no appeal process or external auditing. You just gotta trust them man, that’s how the system works!

  Very True:
  - CS member “Dr. Harpal Singh”, (Myself) got into some kind of discussion with a certain “Lady Ri” (yes, doctor versus lady) who seemed to be country ambassador for South Africa,” than what the hell she is doing in New Delhi, India”—yeah true, she can participate in all type of discussions everywhere and she claims —”she has lost one part of her heart in Delhi but this does not empower her to stop all delhi cs parties , sitting in SA”. The point of discussion centered around CS parties/meetings and what should or shouldn’t be posted in certain areas.
  - Meanwhile “Lady Ri” was accepted into the safety AND MEMBER DISPUTES TEAM OF CS.
  - Dr. Harry’s(mine) profile was subsequently deleted.
  SHAME ON LADY RI AND COUCH-SURFING TEAM as a whole!
  i was in love with the concept and i guess i am still in love–harry

  She should immediately step down from Ambassador post and also resign from being a member of any members dispute team!!!!!
  More Ridiculous—they have blocked my personal computers IP address for any further usage——this is SHEER Discrimination.

  we had a delhi cs re-unite meet same day;
  JUST PLEASE GO THROUGH DELHI POSTS…U WILL KNOW WHOLE D STORY!
  I admit i used few words; which i should haven’t used; but this does not mean my profile should be deleted—-i am sorry for that BUT I WAS PROVOCKED FOR THE SAME…..

  We have only four reasons that a group post can be deleted: in case of duplicates (when a member posts the same thing twice), at the request of the member who posted it, if it is spam, or for safety reasons.

  Either you were a security risk or you were the POPE.

  While our Terms protect us and allow us to remove profiles for any reason at all (section 9), we only remove members for breaching our Terms, or in the circumstance that we find a profile that is surely a fake (for example, we removed a profile of the Pope).
