I have to admit that I dropped the ball on getting the blog set up before my arrival.
MANDIE M posts again on May 28th, 2008 – 1:52 am but makes no mention of the blog.

Now was this a intentional or was Mandie concealing the blog till she got an ‘official’ response from her boss ?
Mandie reminds me of Dana Perino the current White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush [1]
Also reminds me of the White House Press policy

Personally, I think it’s great there’s a blog. I prefer to focus on that rather than create conspiracy theories.
Perhaps we’ll start to get some real communication from this collective. Maybe, just maybe…

And Jerme, I second the feedback from Callum. This isn’t just a “Bash CS” website. Please try to understand that, and contribute to the discussion and not just posting conspiracy theories derived from some small quote taken out of context.
I mean, come on. Comparing Mandy to the Bush White House press secretary???? lol
Mandy purposefully hiding the blog? She admits she “dropped the ball”. That just means she was busy, travelling or just plain forgot about it. Nothing more! You may not like the message, but she is nothing, if not professional, in her communication and her openness. I for one am not always impressed with what she communicates, but Mandy has actually made good on her expresssed intent to actually “communicate”.

I have been waiting until all comms channels are up and running before doing a news item for all general members.
Do read the rest there. The real reasons behind a persons actions takes time .Sometimes years just like GW Bushes Iraq reason will take years to really be known.

Well she has apologised so that is a good step forward.
I feel mandies problem is she does not know how to navigate the site forums and a possible techno phobe.
She use to interact to a few ambassadors online to understand “what needed to be done” and never ever posted on other groups nor did she even know about the questions posted on the site and off site. This shows limited navigation skills.
At least at Thailand she depended on many other people to send her information most of which she discarded .Why?
A online site communication expert “should” know how to find information. We gave her the benefit of doubt at thailand as she was a newbie.Since then does she know about the history of couchsurfing ,the problems ,the past volunteers? does she still depend totally on other ambassadors to send her information?
I believe most people who answer the CUQ are out of the information loop and are supplied only with the information they need.
what the shit is this, if she doesnt know things she is supposed to learn them. if you are unwilling to learn the things to get the job done, start doing something that you can do and stop dicking around in ineptitude

They are a LOT of people CSC Alaska 2008 – PrivateCS group has 46 people and 330 posts!!
We have around 19 people here at the moment. The rest are short termers or people helping out.
